I've been living in San
Francisco for almost 8 years, after almost 30 years in So. Cal. which I
considered an exile. Boy is it great to be back in the Bay Area, and in S.F.,
which I love.
I completed my Masters in Community Health/Nursing
administration a couple of years ago at UCSF. I work as a Consultant, most of
my work is with Huckleberry Youth Programs. We work with at-risk teens, which
is very rewarding work - - especially when you see a difference in behaviors
that you feel you might have helped facilitate.
I have 2 daughters, both
married, who have given me three fun grandchildren-- 2 girls and a boy. I
love to travel, but most of my travel the last few years has been to see
grandkids and their parents, of course.
I'm also active in my community
association, Russian Hill neighbors, as Vice Pres. this year and am a Golden
Gate Park volunteer. There must be other stuff I do, but can't think of any
thing neat at present."
